The Walk

PeanutButterFalcon.jpg

In 1974, high-wire artist Philippe Petit recruits a team of people to help him realize his dream: to walk the immense void between the World Trade Center towers.

This movie blew me away with how good it was. It begins with a man on a mission and evolves into the feel of a heist movie. When factoring in that this is a true story, my mind is blown. Cinematically, it is shot so well that you feel the height and scope of it. My heart pounds during some scenes and if you have any fear of heights this movie taps into that emotion like no other. Like any good movie, you really get invested in the protagonist. I cheered (internally) for his unbelievable feats. It's difficult to compare because this triumphant masterpiece unlike any other movie.
