Open Range

Open Range is another in a long line of a great Costner films – this one he also directed. Robert Duvall is brilliant as always. This one doesn't get as much hype as other westerns, probably because it's not as high-octane on the gunslinging action, spending a lot more time developing a story about life on the "open range." The simpler times were also the hardest of times. If you like westerns and somehow missed this one, add it to your list.
