In America

PeanutButterFalcon.jpg

A family of Irish immigrants adjust to life on the mean streets of Hell's Kitchen while also grieving the death of a child.

This might be my favorite movie you've never heard of. It's one of the most powerful movies that I have ever seen. I do not easily get emotional watching movies, but this film gets me every time. Have tissues handy when you see it, especially if you are a parent. I've never seen anyone act with such honest heartbreak as Considine, Morton, and Hounsou do in this film. I know this film is the product of the director, Jim Sheridan, dealing with his own grief and he definitely brings it to life in this film.
