The limited drama series is a gripping, character-driven thriller based on the 2012 New York Times best selling novel of the same name by William Landay. An assistant DA's world is shattered when his beloved son gets charged with murder.

This small series is a great murder mystery. You are left in suspense of whether or not Jacob is innocent or guilty and always guessing who else it could be. It also deals with the drama that a family faces from friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. with a son on trial for murder – and how far a parent would go to protect their child.
