Coherence

PeanutButterFalcon.jpg

Strange things begin to happen when a group of friends gather for a dinner party on an evening when a comet is passing overhead.

Ok, hear me out. Coherence starts off pretty slow. The camera work is rough with too many out of focus shots, at least early in the film – it gets better as it goes. And the end could be stronger. As my brother says, "it ends like a short film not a feature." That said, it's worth seeing! It's a low budget sci-fi and you can tell, but stick with it and things really pick up. Once it does, it's a wild mind-bending super trippy sequence of events that hooks you in. Despite it's flaws, if you want a worthwhile low budget independent film that blows your mind, Coherence is worth your time. My compliments to all involved in pulling this film off.
