An orphaned musical prodigy uses his gift to try to find his birth parents.

Critics weren't kind to this movie, and as usual audiences got it right. This is a fantastic heart-warming film directed by Kirsten Sheridan. She is the daughter of Jim Sheridan who directed one of my all-time favorite movie gems – In America. Movies about child prodigies are often fascinating to me, as are movies about music. This film features both. If you haven't already, you should see this uplifting film.
